Troy "The Master" Johnson

Troy started his machinist apprenticeship over 40 years ago. He eats, sleeps and breathes making parts.  He designs choppers while pretending to watch movies.  He has over 30 years of design and electronics experience. He's the master of CNC programming. He and Jan have owned and operated a machine shop for over 17 years.  
A motorcycle enthusiast over 45 years, Troy says, "When I was 10 years old, my cousin and I used to go to the local Harley shop to stand around and watch them uncrate the latest models and dream of having our own some day."  "Charley Machado and I make a great team. We're both professionals and think about bikes all the time.  We have more experience than any two people I know of in the bike industry.  Our goal is to build every chopper like it was going to be our own!" 

Jan "The Pit Bull" Johnson

Jan is the heart and soul of Central Texas Choppers. She has over 20 years experience in customer service and office management. We all rely on her to help us through the rigors of business on a daily basis. Jan is very courteous and thoughtful towards our customers. Her nickname comes from her tenacity in achieving goals and problem solving. She won't let go or quit if the going gets tough.

Charley "The Legend" Machado
Charley came to us in hopes that we might be able to pool our talents to make a difference in a very competitive industry. Charley was born a motorcycle enthusiast. He has been building choppers for over 45 years. He's an excellent machinist with over 30 years experience and his welding skills are unmatched. Charley is a legendary Nitro-Harley Drag Racer and Salt Flats speed record holder with extensive knowledge of motorcycles, engines and speed. Troy says, "Charley Machado is a legend in the world of motorcycles; we all love having him with us to share ideas and he is one of the most talented individuals I have ever met."

K.T. "Mac" McKinley

Mac is a former communications engineer with extensive wiring experience. Troy says, "Mac and I have been friends for almost 30 years and I know that if he had the time, he could cut a million wires and splice them back together again with no problems. Mac is also an excellent fabricator and finisher."  

"Mad Max"

Max is a Rottweiler-German Shorthair Pointer mix who came to us 10 years ago as a starving pup looking for a BBQ turkey handout. Trained by an Old English Mastiff, Max is on top of everything around the facility. He's 135 lbs. of dynamite security and a faithful companion, both in the shop and at home. Troy says, "Max is getting up in the years like the rest of us, but he can still roll with the best of them!"

        "The Rock"

Rocky is a Pit Bull mix, hand picked by Troy.  This stout and fun loving pup of only
1 year, weighs in at 70 lbs!  He's being trained under Max's security laws and has proven to be a very faithful companion.
